Understanding Telehealth Therapy
What is Telehealth Psychological Therapy?
Outlook Psychology Practice provides secure, confidential telehealth therapy through our experienced team of psychologists and mental health clinicians. Our clinicians use evidence-based therapies to support clients experiencing:
- Anxiety and depression
- Mood disorders
- Stress and burnout
- General mental health concerns
- Eating disorders and more
Our services are delivered through Zanda, a secure, web-based platform built specifically for allied health professionals.
Who Telehealth is Great For:
- People living in non-metropolitan or rural areas
- Parents of young children
- Shift workers and FIFO professionals
- Those who travel regularly or have limited transport
- Sessions can be accessed from your phone, tablet, or laptop — wherever you feel comfortable.
Therapy Approaches We use
Schema Therapy – A holistic therapy that integrates cognitive, behavioural, gestalt, and attachment-focused approaches. Especially useful for chronic mental health difficulties and personality patterns.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) – CBT helps clients recognise and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. It’s widely supported by research for treating anxiety, depression, and stress.
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) – An evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and reduce the emotional impact of trauma and PTSD.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) – A specialised CBT approach for treating PTSD and trauma from events such as abuse, accidents, and disaster.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) – Combines cognitive therapy with mindfulness strategies to help individuals stay present and reduce relapse in depression and anxiety.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Helps clients accept emotional pain, connect with their values, and commit to action that enriches their lives.
Each therapy is tailored to suit your goals, background, and individual needs.
