At Outlook Psychology Practice, our online ADHD assessments are conducted by trained psychologists who are experienced in identifying ADHD in both adults and young people. Our team is professionally supervised, trauma-informed, and skilled in distinguishing ADHD from other conditions that can impact focus, motivation, and daily functioning.
Benefits of an ADHD Assessment with a Psychologist:
- Faster Access: Shorter wait times compared to psychiatry, allowing you to begin treatment or planning sooner
- Comprehensive Evaluation: Our in-depth, 1-hour clinical interview explores ADHD symptoms thoroughly and considers other possible conditions
- Nationwide Online Access: Our online assessments are available anywhere in Australia – no need to travel to a clinic
- Actionable Outcomes: Start behavioural strategies, therapy, or request school/workplace accommodations while waiting to see a psychiatrist if medication is needed
- Trauma-Sensitive Approach: We prioritise a safe, respectful, and compassionate assessment environment
- Specialist Knowledge of Female ADHD Presentations: Our clinicians are trained in how ADHD shows up differently in women and girls – often overlooked or misdiagnosed
While psychologists cannot prescribe ADHD medication, they can provide a formal diagnosis that is accepted by schools, workplaces, and often by GPs or psychiatrists when prescribing.
